March 18, 2009 - Healthy Lands and WatershedsAs river and lakes thaw in the warming spring weather, we take note of an ancient connection between our sense of place and the flow of water through the Maine landscape. Our ancestors built these towns and cities for sustenance, transportation, fresh water, recreation all making use of these clear flowing arterials. Each watershed is an ecological unit, some with unique combinations of flora and fauna. When our lands and watershed is threatened, we put our own health and well being at risk. Join our guests to talk about perserving the health of our lands and watersheds. Join our dialogue at 10:00 AM as we discuss recreation and health. We invite your calls and email with questions and comments.
