August 15 , 2007 Hunger, Locally Grown Food and the Gastro-Industrial Complex
Join us as we celebrate the height of the season as we consider the evolution of food production in Maine, our increasing reliance on imported, processed foods and what that means for our hunger, nutrition and health. We'll look for local alternatives, including community supported agriculture, farmers markets and growing your own.
We invite your calls and email with questions, comments and personal stories about substance abuse and ways we can prevent it.
