April 16: Family Planning and Reproductive Rights

The debate over privacy, reproductive choice and health continues to rage, centuries after the introduction of contraception and forty years after the landmark Rowe v. Wade ruling by the Supreme Court. Demand for family planning services continues unabated, even while public acrimony over appropriate regulation rages. Many states have moved aggressively to close family planning clinics, particularly those that counsel or provide abortion services.

Join us on Common Health on Wednesday, December 18 for a diaologue reproductive rights in Maine and learn about family planning services available or under fire.

We invite your calls and email with questions and comments.
